The Cross Was Never About God’s Wrath - Ep 90

What if we’ve misunderstood the cross entirely? For generations, many of us have been taught that the cross was about satisfying an angry God. But what if that framework misses the very heart of the gospel? In this conversation, Jason and Baxter explore a radically different vision—one where the cross is not about divine punishment, but about the divine descent of the Father, Son, and Spirit into the abyss of our deepest darkness and delusion.

This episode highlights the indivisible oneness of the Trinity, the cry of Psalm 22, and the unwavering trust of Jesus in His Father. This isn’t just a new perspective. It’s a complete rethinking of God, the cross, and the eternal dream—that you would be fully alive, participating in the very life of the Father, Son, and Spirit.
